Throughout history, humans have used technology to do more, better. From written language to the plow to the modern Internet, we continue to create new tools, which in turns changes us and changes the world. In this multi-week unit, high school students will explore how technology shapes us, design their own problem-solving technology of the future, and forecast how that new technology would affect the world. Designed to be taught online, this course uses digital collaboration tools and can be adapted to any type of learning setting. Students will develop their creativity and research skills while also learning to critically examine the consequences of innovation.
